I have been working on a soft toy design - this is a work in progress - i have only been able to mock-up in paper and staple the pieces together but it does give me a better idea of what the end result will be like!

A Little Golden Book - Tawny Scrawny Lion

superb little golden book - such a funny story about a very hungry lion who goes from catching and eating all the animals around him to eating carrot soup.  love the characterisation of the lion - so many expressions - such fun - fantastic!

New Book - The Art of Eric Carle

this is a fabulous book full of inspirational illustrations.  It covers the life of the artist and also gives you an insight into his artistic process - fascinating - a great artist!

I have been working on this Lion image - I quite like that he's a bit grumpy - I think he looks a bit like me!
