New Forest Ponies Pics

It has taken me a while to find the time but last week I finally made it out to the New Forest to try out a new camera lens I got for Christmas - very happy with the results - it was verrrrrry cold but well worth it as the day was crisp and bright - perfect for taking photos! ;0)

Blue Bear - Samples

I was very excited to receive my samples of the little book I worked on with Priya Hein for Edition Tintenfass yesterday.  They look superb - very very pleased! I have always wanted to illustrate children's books and this is my first one so I am very very happy ;0). A big THANK YOU to Priya, Walter and Nadine! ;0)

Monster Pavlova

culinary delights - for mothers day I made the most enormous pavlova full of strawberries, bananas and cream as a treat for us all - it was absolutely delicious - here is a picture of the monster dessert!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle

I love this little book! A classic must have for any children's book collection. The colours, textures and illustrations are superb and the story gives children the opportunity to learn something of real interest and value.  Beautifully told, wonderfully illustrated and very funny - I get inspired every time I look through this fantastic book.
