Here is a little piece of something new I have been working on! A sporty group of animals doing the 500 meters race - I have enjoyed putting this piece together and my next job is to get them cycling, rowing, throwing the javelin etc...!

This is a superbly illustrated book by Marc Boutavant about a little bear called Mouk who goes on a big adventure - travelling the world. Each page is fabulously detailed and resplendent with colour. A great source of inspiration - each time i open this book i discover something new hidden amongst the images - such fun!

This is one of my favourite children's books. I read it when I was small, I have read it to my children and now it is back in my collection of books to look at when I need some design inspiration. The hugely amusing characters, as well as the level of detail on each page never fail to make me smile.

a little piece of a new design i am working on - something very girly - lots of detail still needs to be added but here is a starting glimpse - I always find it interesting to see how a design looks in outline - all the little pieces put together to make a whole image.

After many years of cutting my dogs hair myself - I have finally given up the tiresome game of chasing the dog around the house with a pair of scissors and gone to the poodle parlour! Much to my little dogs Lucy's disgust she is all clean and beautiful - here is the before and after!

I have been busy printing designs as cards ready to take to market. I still have lots to do - toys and cushions to make as well as print lots more cards and posters/prints but I am slowly getting there. It is quite nice to do something more hands on for a change.
I have been working on another soft toy - this time an elephant with big floppy ears. Once again my mock-up is using paper and staples and the bleed is on the outside so it looks a bit chunky but in all I think the end result will be good - now I need to bite the bullet and get them printed!
